Annie tripped twice from the car to the campsite, 400 feet away. Lesson 1: Pack First-Aid. 

Raccoons will visit a crowded campground at 3AM. Lesson 2: Everything, including your pudding spoons, needs to be up and away. 

Campgrounds aren’t always inspiring. Lesson 3: It’s totally cool if the preparation time is more fun than the hours spent on-site. The fun begins when the idea is hatched. 

Efficiency and Logistics will poison unscripted time together.  Lesson 4: Go slow. The point is being present to each other and nature.
